Hardledge

Hardledge is an knowledge system for management of petrographic information of igneous and metamorphic rocks. It can be acquired as two separate modules: Hardledge-i to igneous petrography and Hardledge-m to metamorphic petrography. It is an advanced software for capturing, codifying, storing, processing and sharing detailed petrographic descriptions of igneous and metamorphic rocks, based on a high level geological ontology. Hardledge integrates artificial intelligence and relational database technology for petrographic description. Using Hardledge, the petrographic descriptions are organized and distributed simultaneously to different queries.
