New contract allows the extension of Endeeper’s software to meet strategic demands of Petrobras.
RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil, Sep. 2, 2014 - Endeeper signed a new contract with Petrobras for the provision of services related to the Endeeper’s software package for petroleum geology. The two-year contract allows the development of new modules for Petroledge, Hardledge and RockViewer systems. Besides software development, software training is also planned in the contract.
Petrobras uses Endeeper’s software for the optimization of the geological analysis process and for sharing information stored in corporate database. Requests for new features are collected from Petrobras’ research units and developed with Endeeper’s software libraries. In addition, service provider companies have also adopted these systems to ensure compliance with the quality criteria required by Petrobras. The systems allows sending data packets directly to the corporate database, eliminating errors and increasing efficiency of the analysis process.
Luiz Henrique Boff, CEO of Endeeper, commented: "The expansion of contracts with Petrobras and the integration of the service supply chain are the results of the quality of the services provided by Endeeper. The company has been continually expanding and training its staff to meet the sharp growth in the provision of services to the oil and gas industry and is prepared to receive that kind of demand".
